Rapid City – Albert G. Christensen, 83, died Friday, August 12, 2016 at his residence at Rapid City.

Albert was born September 16, 1932 at Oshkosh, Nebraska to Ole and Oline [Leth] Christensen.   He served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged on March 23, 1956. He married Jimmie Wegner on November 12, 1981.

Survivors include his wife Jimmie Christensen of Rapid City; daughter Tine [Jim] Heier of Luray, KS; one son Todd Christensen of Wichita, KS; two step-daughters: Paula Jimenez of Kaui, HI and Lynet [Nick] Roberts of Wichita, KS; two sisters: Viola Cochran of Ogallala, NE and Leola Starr of Santa Clara, CA;  8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, 3 sisters, and one step-son.

Memorial services will be 1:30 pm Saturday, August 20 at the Big Bend Presbyterian Church.
