Allen Lee Gerritson, 61, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital.   Allen was born July 30, 1961 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Thomas and Marcella Gerritson.

He married Pamela Dieterle in 1983 and they were blessed with four children.  In 1997 he married Peggy Corcoran.

Of all the different jobs Allen had in his life, cross country truck driving was one of his favorites.  But even more than that, he loved motorcycles, the Sturgis Rally and riding anytime he could.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Marcella Gerritson, Rapid City, SD, sister, Vicky (Mark) Johnson, South Sioux City, NE, brother James Gerritson, Seabeck, WA, his four children; Thomas (Jessica) Gerritson, Lakewood, CO, Marcella Gerritson, Hill City, SD, Randell Gerritson, Rapid City, SD, and Suzanna Coleman, Hill City, SD, his five grandchildren; Elijah, Danny, Sofia, Rylee and Isaac and a host of additional family and friends.

Allen was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Gerritson, his former wife, Peggy Gerritson, and son-in-law, Joseph Coleman.

Friends and family are invited to a funeral service on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home with visitation beginning at noon.
