Andrea "Andi" Kross, 53, of Rapid City, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 while working in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Rapid City Regional Hospital. Thank you to the staff of MICU for you effort and care of Andi.

She was born on May 13, 1963 in Buffalo, NY and was raised by her parents, Charles and Dorothy (Lied) Wagner, in Hamburg, NY.

She moved with her family to South Dakota in 1986 where Andi graduated from University of South Dakota with a BS Degree in Archeology. While in Vermillion, she served as a paramedic on the ambulance.

After her mothers' death in 1996, Andi achieved a BS Degree in Nursing in Rapid City from South Dakota State University and began working at Rapid City Regional Hospital. She started out on the eighth floor. At the time of her death, Andi was a nurse in the MICU.

She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, reading and hot air ballooning, though her love was her family.

She is survived by her husband Bob, daughters Samantha and Sarah. Her brother Eric Wagner. She is proceeded in death by her mother Dorothy Wagner and father Charles Wagner.

A visitation will be held from 2:00pm until 4:00pm on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, December 19 at South Canyon Lutheran Church with Pastor Bruce Thalacker officiating.

A memorial has been established towards Andi's daughter's' education.
