Angeline Magdeline Jangula died peacefully at the age of 92 on January 8, 2021 at Monument Hospice House.

"Angie" was born on January 19, 1928 at the family home in Emmons County, 10 miles from Hague, ND to John and Eugenia (Schmaltz) Fischer.  She was the second of 9 children.  She married Adam Jangula on October 26, 1946 in Zeeland ND and they shared 57 years together living first in Zeeland, ND and then moving to Rapid City, SD in 1961 when Adam (Jinx) transferred to the RC Post Office.

Although working at Sooper Dooper was a special memory, she is most remembered for the kidney she donated to her daughter, Jane, in 1983.  In 1975, life became complete with Jinx's retirement spending many years at the river in Mobridge and Gettysburg with old friends and new.

Angie lived her 92 years of life loving God along with unwavering love and devotion to family and friends. She never met a stranger!  In her last years, she rarely missed a Thursday afternoon at the Minneluzahan Senior Center.  Nobody could dance the polka like Angie!

She is survived by her children Shirley (Gary) Schumacher and Kenny (Mary) Jangula.  She was proud of her grandchildren Karri (Gentry); Angela (Chad), Jesse (Miranda), Jaida (Nick), Annette and Great Grandchildren Lindsey (Jacob), Jenna (Wyatt), Hailey, Hayden, Jasmine, Harmony and Ciara.

She is also survived by her siblings Herman, Frances (Marlin) Legault, Helen Robson, Bernice (Ron) Alderson, Florence (Bill) Collins, Kathy (Jim) Weaver, Jim (Karen) Fischer along with many special nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jinx in 2004, daughter Jane in 2001, and sister-in-law Phyllis Fischer.

Visitation and rosary recitation begin on Wednesday, January 13, at 9:00 am, at Blessed Sacrament Church.  Christian funeral mass will be offered at 10 am. Masks are preferred.  Lunch will follow mass and a private burial will be at Black Hills National Cemetery.
