Ann M. Oukrop, 90, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024 in Rapid City.  Ann was born March 26, 1933, to Christ J. and Margaret T. (Raab) Anton in Dickinson, ND. In 1953, she married Joseph V. Oukrop in Lefor, ND.

Together, she and Joseph grew their family to include three children; Wayne, Ardelia and Sheldon.

Ann had a successful career as an Avon representative as well as working at Killdeer Mountain Manufacturing.  She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Red Hat Society.  Ann enjoyed listening to music and she played the organ.  She also spent time painting, sewing, reading and baking.  She had a love for Christmas that she passed on to her children.

Ann is survived by; Wayne (Carrie) Oukrop of Laurel, MT, Ardelia (Scott) of Tyler, TX, Sheldon (Nanette) Oukrop of Bullard, TX; five grandchildren; Alandra Oukrop, Callie (Brian) Lubinski, Calvin (Deidre) Schmalz, Kade (Leah) Schmalz and Miranda (Jeff) Becker; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Regina Lefor, Elinor Krauter, and one brother, Arnold Anton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph V. Oukrop and her parents.

Friends and family are invited to a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.  A light lunch will follow the service.  Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. at Black Hills National Cemetery.
