Rapid City - Anna C. (Sundall) Rumsey, 93, Rapid City, died Friday, February 4, 2011 at Golden Living Center - Prairie Hills in Rapid City. Anna was born February 7, 1917 on the family farm in Lyman County. She married George Packman in 1938 in Kennebec. They moved to Rapid City in 1942. She married Robert Rumsey in 1956 in Lordsburg, NM. They lived in Superior, AZ and in Rapid City. She was baptized at the Canyon Lake Methodist church in Rapid City. She worked at the Bennett Clarkson Hospital as a nurses aide for 22 years and retired in 1972. She also did sewing in her home for many years. Survivors include a brother, Robert Sundall, Rapid City; a sister, Cathryn Sundall, St. Paul Minnesota; five grandchildren, Terrence (Jonni), Tabitha, Tracy, Tonya Jo and Thomas; several great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Packman, and her second husband, Robert Rumsey; her parents, Charles and Ursula Sundall; one son Charles Packman; one granddaughter, Tricia Packman; five brothers, Carl, Gilbert, John, Alvin, Theodore and two sisters, Twila and Mary. Visitation will be for one hour before services. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home, with the Rev. Eric Grinager officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. A memorial has been established to: the Golden Living Center Prairie Hills, 916 Mountain View Road, Rapid City, SD 57702.
