Obituary

Anthony S. Anderson 31 of Box Elder, SD passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022.

Anthony was born on March 9, 1990, in Sturgis, SD to Shane Anderson and Christina Jacobs Anthony who was their 2 nd child the joy he brought to the family was so exciting. Shane and Chris resided in Spearfish for his younger years and when he grew older Christina and family moved to Rapid City when Anthony was 4 and his sister Carrissia was 7. They attended Meadowbrook, and Grandview Elementary Schools. As a family they moved a lot, always a new adventure for them. Finding new friends wherever they resided. He graduated from Steven High School in 2008 the whole family was so proud of him and all his accompaniments. During school he worked at Taco Bell for at least 2 years (he Loved Tacos). Anthony did all kinds of odd jobs he liked mowing lawns, shoveling snow to make his own money. His whole family was so proud of him for taking on this responsibility. Anthony also was in Boy Scouts he was quite the seller of popcorn he got the most sales in his troop, and he won a tent which he used on their camping trips, and we still have.

Anthony had a passion for racing. With the help of his stepdad Don Jacobs, he was able to get his first go cart. After go cart season was over, he went on to something bigger to try Dirt Bikes! He met some friends that raced, and he wanted to try it. Anthony's grandfather bought his first car. He didn't care what he drove, but he needed a truck for the new sport He was "Lucky" mom bought him a truck, Honda Dirt Bike, and later getting a Kawasaki and Yamaha. With all his hard work he won many trophies in both hobbies.

Anthony eventually met someone that really touched his heart. In 2013 they started dating and her name was Bree They did everything together. She took care of him, just like a mother would. He was one of a kind, considerate, always said please and thank you. Anthony never complained.  If he had $1 left, he would give it to you. Always made sure everyone was okay mainly his family. He was a helper and would help anyone who needed it. Not to mention funny sense of humor. He truly did love life!!!
