RAPID CITY - Ardith M. Laudenschlager, 104, passed away at Avantara St. Cloud on Monday, July 24, 2023.  She was born on Wednesday, October 23, 1918, to Edward and Emma (Stubbe) Kromrey in Kramer, North Dakota.  Later, Rapid City became her home for many years until her death.

Ardith attended beauty college and received her cosmetology certification and served as a hairdresser for several years and then primarily as a homemaker taking care of her family.  She was a member of Divine Shepherd Lutheran Church in Black Hawk.  During her free time Ardith enjoyed gardening and was always a lover of animals.

She is survived by her grandson Mark Laudenschlager, granddaughter Mary (Laudenschlager) Baker and great-grandsons, Joshua, Jonas and Jude Baker.

Ardith was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Laudenschlager and son, David Laudenschlager.

Ardith will be buried privately at Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City.

Should friends desire, a memorial contribution may be made in her memory to the Humane Society of the Black Hills.
