Arlene passed away on March 10, 2012, at the Meadowbrook Golden Living Center in Rapid City. Arlene moved to Rapid City from northwest Nebraska in 1953 with her young son, LeRoy. Arlene and Leonard also operated the concession stand at Floyd Fitzgerald Stadium for 13 summers from 1975-1987. Arlene loved Post 22 Baseball, the New York Yankees, decorating her home for Christmas, preparing wonderful meals, watching soap operas, and dancing.
