Arlund Brockman, 93, died Friday, November 8, 2024 at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital.

Arlund Hartney Brockman was born Monday, April13, 1931 in Fairmont, Minnesota to Carroll and Grace Brockman.

He was in the United States Marines and reached Corporal and served during the Korean Conflict.

He married Shirley Ann Koehn on September 18, 1954 in Ceylon, Minnesota.

He was a registry clerk for the United States Post Office for many years.

Arlund is survived by his wife: Shirley Brockman; one daughter: Kim [Shane] Viger; one son: Shawn Brockman; and one sister: Marlene Simmerling.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Arvid Brockman.

Burial Service with full military honors will be 11:30 am Thursday, November 14, 2014 at Black Hills National Cemetery with full military honors.
