Arturo “Art” Sisneros, 62, of Rapid City, passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends July 3, 2026, at Monument Health Hospital.

He was born August 10, 1963, in Fort Benning, Georgia, to Arturo Sisneros and Maria Flores, the only boy of six children. After a short run in the Air Force during the early 80’s, he headed into construction where he spent thirty years working to build numerous buildings throughout Rapid City.

When not working, he spent his time barbequing or fishing, and he belonged to numerous pool leagues including the Independent 8-Ball League and West River 8-Ball League. He also loved the Dallas Cowboys and his fur babies Buck, Maggie, Chachi, Guido, and Obi.

Art is survived by his significant other of twenty-eight years, Karla Saner; the mother of his children, Brenda Sisneros Galves; daughters Stephanie (BJ) Sisneros, Jessica (Tyler) Sisneros, and Andrea O’John; son Gabriel Sisneros; sisters Teresa Nunez, Diane Sisneros, and Aimee Medrano; bonus daughter Shauna (Jeff) Halle; grandchildren Legian, Tytan, Alyas, Aiden, Dominick, Gabriella, Alexandra, Krystina, Zealand, Roman, Rosalie, Raeleigh, Dakota, Cody and Oliver, in addition to many nieces and nephews and other family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents Arturo Sisneros and Maria Flores, and sisters Patricia Olguin and Sonja Miranda.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
