Barbara Helene Jensen, passed away on the morning of August 28, 2023, surrounded by her family in her home.  She was 88 years old.

Barbara was born on April 27, 1935 in Viborg, South Dakota.  She is survived by her son Craig Jensen, daughter Cara Walker, son Curt Jensen, son-in-law Daniel Walker, and granddaughter Aynsley Walker.

She was preceded in death by her husband Darwin Jensen, older brother Chuck Christopherson, younger brother Warren Christopherson, younger sister Eloise Shevlin, and daughter-in-law Shannon Jensen.

Barbara was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be held at WestGate Community Church in Rapid City. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the church.  A luncheon will follow the service and burial will be at 1:30 p.m. at Black Hills National Cemetery.
