Rapid City - Barbara J. Roberts (Klein, Sidel, Patenaude), 82, Rapid City, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Monument Health Home Plus Hospice House in Rapid City.

Barb was born November 11, 1942 in Aberdeen, SD, the youngest child of William and Ruth (Laib) Walker.
Barbara grew up around Ipswich and Aberdeen, SD.  She married Rudolph Klein and moved to the Rapid City area in the early 60's.

For much of her career, Barbara worked in the banking industry as a teller, and various other accounting type jobs. She was a perpetual hobbyist, self-taught in quilting, cake decorating, painting, and even owned her own ceramic shop.  Barb was an avid traveler taking her to places far and near, including Egypt, Saudia Arabia, Germany, Amsterdam, Sri Lanka, and many US states.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Roberts, daughters, Kristi Klein, Kelly (Mike) Banning, and Kandy Floyd all of Rapid City, grandchildren Martinik Gonzales of Phoenix, AZ, Levi Klein of Colorado Springs, CO, Jordan Klein of Rapid City, SD, and 5 great grandchildren. Additional family includes Jimmy Jr. & Cindy Roberts of Spearfish, John & Brenda Roberts, Judy & Dave Fuhrer all of Rapid City, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Ruth Walker, her brother William, sister Carol, and grandson Albert.

Memorial service will be held at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home 2700 Jackson Blvd., Rapid City, SD on Thursday, April 17 at 11:00 am.
