Beatrice "Bea" L. Pitsor, 81, of Rapid City died Thursday, November 7, 2019 at a local health care facility.

She was born on March 23, 1938 in Bowdle, SD to Jacob and Clara (Brekke) Lassle.

Bea grew up in Bowdle before moving to Rapid City.

She met Ronald "Terry" Pitsor and on February 22, 1958, they were married in Spearfish.

Bea so enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking and especially being with family.

She worked in food service at Stevens High School for 30 plus years before retiring.

Bea was a member of and very active in St Andrews Episcopal Church and the VFW auxiliary.

She is survived by her sons; Mel (Mary Ann) Pitsor and Kevin (Brenda) Pitsor, all of Black Hawk, 5 grandchildren; Ronnie (Courtney) Pitsor, Casey (Beth)Pitsor, Andy (Burgundy) Pitsor, Marissa (Colton) Mackey, Trevor Pitsor and Brenna Longman, 9 great grandchildren, a brother, Jake (Josie) Forbradg, Buffalo, NY, her sisters; Delores Bichler, Longmont, CO and Mary Mertz, Mobridge, SD.

Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Terry, 5 brothers and 1 sister.

A memorial has been established to ST Andrews Episcopal Church.
