BLACK HAWK, SD- Benedicta Tita R. Tudtud, 97, Black Hawk, SD was peacefully reunited with her loving husband Joe L. Tudtud on Monday August 24, 2009, at Sturgis Regional Senior Care, Sturgis, SD She was born May 7, 1912 at Corella, Bohol, Philippines, the daughter of Dionisio and Felipa Revita. She married Joe L. Tudtud on November 25, 1945, at Corella Bohol, Philippines. The couple resided in Los Angeles, CA until they relocated to be with family in Rapid City, SD in 1993. Tita was a teacher in her home town of Corella and a bookkeeper for the Los Angeles Athletic Club. She was an avid tennis player and won several tournaments. She was one of the founding members of the Filipino club, The Boholanos of Southern California. Tita was an active member of the St. Columban Filipino Catholic Church in Los Angeles, CA. Survivors include her son, Rick Tudtud, Black Hawk, SD; her daughter in law, Juanita Tudtud, Tucson, AZ; three grandchildren, Francesca Taja Alcantara, Los Angeles, CA; James Tudtud, Tampa, FL; Desiree Grueschow, Rapid City, SD. Six great-grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., with Mass of Christian burial following. at 10 a.m., Friday August 28, 2009 at Our Lady of the Black Hills Catholic Church, Piedmont, SD, with the Rev.
