Boyd S. Stevens, age 78, of Summerset South Dakota, sadly left us on March 15th 2024.  He was born in Nicholson, PA in 1945.  He proudly served his Country for 6 years in the United States Air Force and was a C-130 pilot during the Vietnam War after graduating from Iowa State University.  He purchased the NAPA Auto Parts store in Oakhurst, CA in 1979 and served the community for more than 30 years, often times answering his house phone to meet people at the store in the middle of the night to help them in their time of need under the name of Stevens Auto Supply.

Boyd was founded in community involvement.  He was a member of Rotary International, rode in the Madera County Mounted Posse and served in the Community Crime Patrol.  He was the voice of Yosemite High School Athletics for over 2 decades where he proudly announced Badger Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Wrestling and Baseball, as well as, covering Badger sports for KAAT on the radio.

Boyd is survived by his loving wife Janet, son Scott Stevens, daughters Gina Gerron (Irving) and Tiffany Nedland (Gilkison) plus 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He is loved and will be tremendously missed by all who knew him.
