Brenda Marie Lauziere, 40, of Oak Park Heights, MN, passed away August 31, 2015 after a courageous two year battle with ovarian and clear cell cancer. She was born May 13, 1975 in Taipei, Taiwan to Lawrence and Linda (Burke) Lauziere. As a toddler, she lived in Guam, New Jersey and finally South Dakota. She went to school in Sturgis and graduated from Brown High School in 1993. She was very active in track and volleyball. Brenda went to the University of Minnesota at Morris and graduated in 1997 with a degree in biology. Brenda moved to Minneapolis where she worked in labs at Smith-Kline, St Croix Hospital, Hudson, WI Hospital and finally at Metro Urology in Woodbury, MN. After she met Eyre Klindt and her girls, the adventures began. You never knew where the next trip would take them; Grand Canyon, Florida Keys, Disney World, Myrtle Beach, Bermuda, Washington D.C. and her all-time favorite, Ireland. Her last adventure was to Boston and Maine. Now she is on her biggest adventure of all. She is survived by her father, Larry of Ragley, LA, her mother, Linda of Rapid City, grandfather, Pat Burke of Rapid City, her best friend, Eyre Klindt, goddaughters; Brittany, Maycee and Marah, all of Oak Park Heights, MN, many uncles, aunts and cousins. Brenda was preceded in death by her grandmothers; Lila Burke and Pauline Lauziere. Brenda was loved by many and missed by all. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society \ Ovarian Fund. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rapid City.
