Hot Springs – Bruce A. Minkler, 77, died Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Bruce Anthony Minkler was born May 27, 1940 at Superior, Wisconsin to Thomas and Elizabeth [Kempton] Glonek. He attended school and graduated from Mesa High School in San Diego, CA. He entered the United States Army in 1958 and served until his honorable discharge in 1962.

He married Marcella Kay Reifert on July 15, 1976 at the Ft. Meade Chapel at Ft. Meade. He was employed for 35 years as a Medical Health Specialist with the Veterans Administration. Marcella died Christmas Day, December 25, 2000.

Bruce loved the outdoors and always look forward to fishing. His hobbies include watching the grandkids, spending  time with Linda and weekends at the race track.

Survivors include his special significant other: Linda Garrigan and her children and their families; his siblings: Kathryn, Robert, and Judith.

His graveside service will be 11:30 am Monday May 14, 2018 at Black Hills National Cemetery with Military Honors.
