Bryan Allan Olson, 48, of Rapid City, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.

He was born on January 30, 1977 in Belleville, Illinois to Laura and Gerald Olson.  Bryan grew up  in Rapid City and earned an Associate's Degree in Architectural Cad-Cam from Western Dakota Technical College.  He enjoyed collecting, particularly Hot Wheels and die cast cars.  He was a member of several collecting groups.  Bryan also enjoyed all genres of music, particularly Smashing Pumpkins, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Frank Sinatra and Wu-Tang Clan. "A man with a dream with plans to make C.R.E.A.M."

He will be remembered for his thoughtful and kind nature.  He made it a point to remember the small details about people that made them feel special.

Bryan is survived by his daughter, Sofia Schaeffer; mother, Laura (Fred Reese) Olson;  father, Gerald Olson; a brother Brad (Jessica) Olson,  brother Garrett Olson, and a brother Kaleb Olson; step-sisters, Michelle (Corey) Rabenberg and Stephenie (Chris) Bennett; nieces and nephews, Coral, Dylan, Josey, Arlo, Shelby, Aubrey, Hayes, and Carissa; his grandfather, Gene Erlinger as well as other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Bertha Imogene Erlinger and Shirley Brownlee and his grandfather, Allen Olson.

Services are being planned and will be held at a later date.
