Carl Benjamin "Ben" Hall, 79, passed away Monday, July 31, 2023 peacefully at his home.

Carl was born in Providence, Rhode Island on May 27, 1944.

He joined the Navy traveling the world and spent 4 years during Vietnam.

Carl is the oldest of 4 children, (Dave, Jim and Bunny) born to Carl Davis Hall and Berneita Wilma Unruh Hall.

In February 2002, he married his wife Irene and they settled down to raise her daughters in Rapid City, SD.

All told--Carl was Blessed with 7 Children; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his precious son Michael, his two beloved grandchildren Shane Maumasi, and Valarie Coles, his in-laws John and Lucy Hoyer, and his nephew Jacob Nustad.

Later in life, Carl had two beloved dogs that crossed over. Our hope now, is that  he has not only met up with all his precious family members that have gone before him, but also playing catch with those dogs that were always at his side.

Inurnment of his cremains will take place promptly at 1:00pm Friday, September 29, 2023 at Black Hills National Cemetery, 20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785 with full military honors provided by Rushmore VFW Post #1273 Honor Team and United States Navy Honor Team.

His Celebrations of Life Open House will be from 2:00pm to 4:00pm Saturday , September 30th, 2023 at the Canyon Lake Activities Center, 2900 Canyon Lake Drive, Rapid City, SD 57702.
