RAPID CITY- Carol Fleming, 57, danced her way to Heaven on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. Born July 19, 1957 in East Derry, New Hampshire to the late Rouville and Burnette (Scott) Pelletier. She attended Saint Thomas Aquinas Elementary School in Derry, NH; Hood Memorial Junior High school, Derry, NH; Pinkerton Academy, Derry, NH through 10th grade. She then moved to Ocala, Florida where she graduated from Vanguard High School in 1975 with honors. She worked at Silver Springs at the International Deer Ranch throughout high school. She met her first husband Rick, in high school and they were married in 1975. They then moved to South Dakota in October of '77 because of his enlistment in the Air Force. She found work at JCPenney and SCI and worked there for many years. Unfortunately things didn't work out between her and her first husband, although, they remained friends. She began working at Robbinsdale Lounge when one night the love of her life, Mike Fleming, asked her to dance. He took her deer hunting for their first date. Two years later the couple married August 26, 1983 in Rapid City. She spent the last 26 years of her life creating Fleming Bros. Lawn Service with her husband. While working for Fleming Bros. over the years she saw the need to provide additional services for his customers which she felt included cleaning. The last 17 years was spent building her own business, HouseWorks Cleaning Service, from the ground up. Carol was known for being a spitfire growing up and is still known for her wild side. She is remembered as being family-oriented, keeping family traditions, her selfless generosity, humor, optimism, taking care of her loved ones, and being a social butterfly. She was an avid bowler, reader, and cook for the masses. Carol loved to travel, especially to the East Coast where she was born.
