Carol Ann (Robbie) Hodge, 71, of Rapid City, died Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital.

She was born December 30, 1950, in Sioux Falls, SD to Paul and Lois (Clampett) Robbie.  Carol Ann graduated from Lincoln High School in 1969.  Following high school, she worked for McKennan Hospital. Carol Ann married Bob Alexander on August 10, 1971.

Carol Ann moved to Rapid City in 1973, working for Dr. Burnett, United Corporation, and as the administrative assistant for Land Development Specialists, HMC Financial, Ron Brodowitz Law, Jim Jeffries Law and retiring from the Mike Whalen Law office in 2012 due to health reasons.

Carol Ann married Dan Hodge on June 23, 1984, in the Rocky Mountains.  They enjoyed riding their motorcycle until camping around the United States became prominent in their lives.  They were long time members of the Blue Knights.

Carol Ann is survived by her husband, Dan; her daughter, Megen Marie Gahley, Homedale, Idaho; two grandsons: Devin Gahley, Nampa, Idaho and Levi Gahley, Homedale, Idaho; two stepchildren: Danny Hodge IV, Staci Lynn and numerous grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Paula Jane King, Mary Elizabeth Robbie and James Scott Robbie.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the North Haines Volunteer Fire Department, 1290 Country Rd, Rapid City at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022. Food and drinks will be provided.

A memorial will be established to St Jude's Hospital for Children.
