Charlene Marie Rossman, 25, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023 at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital.

Charlene was born June 15, 1998 in Grand Forks, ND, the oldest of Dan and Summer Hager. She moved to Rapid City, SD with her parents when she was five years old. She attended school in New Underwood until 2nd grade, in Rapid City until 4th grade, and finished her schooling at Douglas. She graduated from Douglas High School in May of 2017. While in high school she met Wayne Rossman. They eventually got married on August 12, 2023 at Canyon Lake Park in Rapid City. Charlene was involved in many activities throughout her lifetime. She did Girl Scouts and attended Prima for dancing. She did drama during middle and high school and played her flute throughout her schooling years. She was involved in youth group at her church and did many activities at the church.

Charlene was the type of person who would greet you with a hug and ask you to share your burdens with her. She wanted everyone to be happy and to know she loved them.

Charlene is survived by her husband Wayne Rossman, parents Daniel and Summer Hager, brother David Hager, in-laws Wendy and Mike Rossman. Other family members include aunt and uncles: Chris and Joni Hager, Bernie and Leslie Kellison, Jake and Travanti Wells, MacRae Dirkach, Joanna Flagan, grandparents: David and Karen Scott, Darcy Dirkach, cousin: Raziel Hager and other cousins. Pets: Louie Hager, family dog.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Bonnie Dirkach, grandfather Daniel R. Hager Sr., and uncle Shawn Dirkach SSgt USMC.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2023 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 9 at Crossroads Wesleyan Church.   Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery with luncheon following back at the church.
