RAPID CITY- Charles H. "Chuck" Tillett, 48, passed away November 4, 2014. Chuck was born June 7, 1966 in California. He grew up in Rapid City and graduated from Central High School. He loved to work and had a variety of jobs, most recently for Messner Auction, until he became too ill to work. He was an avid Broncos fan and a few weeks before his death, he got to enjoy watching the Broncos play at their new Denver Stadium. During racing season, he spent Friday nights at Black Hills Speedway watching his lifetime friend, Dallas Porter, driving car #109. Chuck will be missed by many and remembered for his huge caring heart and loving soul. Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Charles F. Tillett; paternal and maternal grandparents; and a brother, William Charles Tillett. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Pipitt; one brother, David Tillett; three sisters: Brenda Tillett, Rapid City; Tonda (Matt) Meyer, Townsend, MT; Dorinda (Kevin) Sammeli, Rapid City; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family welcomes all to join them for a meal after the burial at The Retired Enlisted Association on East Hwy 44.
