Obituary

Cheryl Renee Lien 43, 'went to be a spirit in the sky^ on Thursday February 28,2008. She is most remembered by her passion for life and for having that sparkle in her eyes that could make the whole world light up. For those who knew her, she had taught us to never stop dreaming and to always dance barefoot in the rain. Cheryl believed in "the wind in her hair, the sun in the sky, the grass on the ground and the air in her lungs, she didn't just love the outdoors, she herself was a force of nature. In the end Momma ,we are all just "dust in the wind" you will always be with us. We Love you. That Smile Sweet as your laugh, A cute snort at the end, No one else can make me tickled pink just from a giggle, But you. Those Hands Never demanding, only giving, comforting they are, No one else can make me feel at peace from just a touch, But you. Those Eyes As beautiful an innocent, That bright hazel hue, No one else can break me down with just a look, But you. That mind Brilliant, thoughtful, true, Encouraging spirit, No one else can tell me how it really is, But you. You're my laughter, my peace, my tenderness You're my personality You're the love of my life No one else Mommy, But you. For those of you who didn't know Cheryl R Lien as well, Cheryl was an outstanding woman with a true heart of gold. She was a very accredited RN who always appreciated the chance to help those in need. Cheryl was the type of Nurse who would always make extra time for her beloved patients. She was always very active in AA "easy does it" is just what she did. Cheryl was a friend to some but a mother to all with the ability to nurture anybody and anything. She was a person you were always happy to see, and her voice as comforting and sweet as life itself. She always had a smile on her face through the good and the bad. And I know she is still smiling as she is now hiking on her own trail to her own heaven and marking the trail as she goes. And I wish her well on her journey into the unknown. To my mother who I will always love and cherish "you will always be my rock." Survivors include : her grandmother, Mary Homing, Rapid City, her mother, Shirley Hayes, McLaughlin, SD, two sisters, Jodi Palmer, Rapid City and Cindy Bagneschi, Chadron, NE, a brother, Scott Englert, Black Hawk, two daughters, Karmen Englert, Rapid City, Katera Walton, Towanda, KS, a son, Leonard Gonzalez, Rapid City, her girlfriend, Sheila Knight, Rapid City, her grand daughter Tigerlily Robinson, Rapid City and many other family and friends.
