Rapid City – Christine "Tina" Fliday, 98, died Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the Fountain Springs Health Care Center in Rapid City.
Christine Mary Radman was born February 14, 1919 in Lead, SD to parents Mike and Mary Radman. She attended parochial grade school in Lead and graduated from Lead High School in 1937. She married Harold Dewey Fliday on April 15, 1941 in Deadwood, SD and they had two children: Bob and Jim Fliday, who both reside in Washington State.
Tina lived in Rapid City since 1946 and worked at Western Stationary and Pennington County Court House in Rapid City for 16 years.
She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Catholic Daughters of America, and Minneluzahan Senior Citizens Center. She lived her final years at Fountain Springs Healthcare in Rapid City.
Helpful in her journey through life were the Pahl family, cousins in Spearfish and Lead, and many wonderful friends throughout the years.
Tina is survived by her two sons Bob and Jim; sister Violet Pahl; two grandchildren: Stephany Mason and Jennifer Zendejas; seven great-grandchildren: Joshua, Jillian, Aaron, Noah, Alex, Victor, Gabriella; one great-great-grandchild: Jayden; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Tony Radman, daughter in law Vickie and brother in law Swede.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday, June 14 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home with a Rosary Service at 7:00 pm along with a Catholic Daughters of America service.
Christian Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Thursday, June 15 at Cathedral Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
Burial will follow at Pine Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
