Obituary

Yankton, SD - Cindy Lou Miller-Genes, 52, a lady with a Heart of Gold.... passed away March 19, 2016.

Cindy was born to Doyle & Mary Miller on Feb. 17, 1964. She came into this world with the biggest smile, and a gift that she shared with all.... And that was "Her Unconditional Love".

Her siblings felt it most of all throughout their lives.

Cindy's hobbies were cooking, reading , music....She loved music, it was a comfort she would say. Not surprisingly her favorite movie was Pay It Forward...We can truly say Cindy did just that....She spent many hours, in her life before she fell sick, volunteering, and teaching Gods word. Cindy's mother passed away 4 months before her high school graduation, with the help and support of family and friends was able to finish her education.

Cindy touched so many lives throughout her years from infancy on... to cheer ones up, to make ones feel loved. A true legacy of unconditional love...

Cindy set the example for so many that trusts in God's word, and faith in him. Someday soon will see a time of peace, when no sickness, no tears, no wars and no death would come upon us ever again. She loved volunteering and sharing Gods word with so many. Even when Cindy grew sick throughout the years she kept Gods word, The Bible, near her bed, to have it close by her as a reminder of those very words. We are thankful to all those that read those scriptures to her when needed. Cindy had a love for butterflies, esp. the big beautiful Monarch butterflies.
