Obituary
RAPID CITY – Clifford E. Doty, 80, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020 at his home.
Cliff served proudly in the National Guard for 34 years. He started the National Guard Rescue Team and served with recognition for his efforts in the flood of 1972.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; sons: Robert Bute (Loretta Eiesland); Scott Doty; daughters: Tamara Veit, Washington; Tonya Schaeffer, California; Elizabeth Thompon, Maryland; 15 grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, Garry Doty (Audrey), Mitchell, SD; Francis Doty (Judy), South Carolina; and Darrel Doty (Barb), Mitchell, SD.
Private family services will be held at Black Hills National Cemetery.
