WINONA, MN | Colleen S. Doffing, 83, formerly of Rapid City, SD, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014, in Winona. Colleen was born June 27, 1931, in Hartford, KS, the daughter of Edward and Helen (Begbie) Moore. She was united in marriage with Gerald Doffing on Oct, 10, 1950, in Hampton, MN; he preceded her in death on Jan. 27, 2001. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Winona. Colleen is lovingly survived by her children, Melvin (Susie) Doffing, Spring Valley, WI, Lorraine Almo, Albuquerque, NM, Joyce (Bob) Dracy, Mankato, MN, John (Laura) Doffing, Winona, and Barbara Reich, Cannon Falls, MN; grandchildren, Kate, Brian, Nick, Kalena, Colin, Jim, and Nicole; a great-grandson, Owen; as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Winona. Visitation will be one hour prior. Colleen will be laid to rest at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.
