Obituary

RAPID CITY Conner Stephen Linn, born Feb. 5, 2009, departed this life on Aug. 6, 2009. During his brief six months on earth, his sunny, adventurous personality brightened all our lives, and his passing leaves a hole in our hearts and lives that will never be filled. He was always smiling, an irresistible smile that lit up his face and crinkled his nose, always wanted to be on the go, and embraced new experiences like swimming and his first fireworks, his beautiful blue eyes shining with excitement. During his too-short time with us, he enjoyed listening to music (Mozart lullabies), watching Baby Einstein, being read to, snuggling and being with his parents, grandparents, brother, aunts and uncles, and cousins, and making friends with new people wherever he went. He touched all of us deeply, and will always be a part of our family. We loved him with all our hearts, and our hearts go with him, our handsome little man. Conner will continue to bless others through his donations to LifeSource. We will never forget you, sweetheart. Conner is survived by his parents, Marc and Kathleen Linn, big brother Ethan Linn, grandparents Bill and Phyllis Okrepkie and Dennis and Carolyn Linn, all of Rapid City; great-grandparents Leona Hall, Rapid City, and Carl and Doris Goldsberry and Bonnie Overton, Ohio; and aunts and uncles Michael and Sharla Linn, Eric Linn, Nicholas Linn, Jason and Carrie Brown, all of Rapid City, and Kees and Katherine Geerken, North Carolina. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, at Osheim and Schmidt Funeral Home, 2700 Jackson Blvd. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1012 Soo San Dr. Graveside services follow at Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that friends consider donations to: Rapid City Club for Boys, 320 North Fourth St., Rapid City, SD 57701, or Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2025 East River Pkwy., Minneapolis, MN 55414.
