RAPID CITYConnie Jo Hansen, 46, died at Rapid City Regional Hospital on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 after a short illness. Connie was born on September 23, 1963, in Rapid City to Charles and Evelyn (Eisenbraun) Shull. She grew up and attended schools in Rapid City and graduated from Rapid City Central High School in 1981. She was married that same year in Rapid Eugene Hansen. Connie worked as a baker in several local businesses including Daisy Dell Drive-In, Murphy's, Shakees Pizza, Perkins and was currently at Jerry's Cakes and Donuts. Connie loved going to garage sales, was an avid traveler and enjoyed all types of crafts. She was an amazing cook and baker as well. She also collected Precious Moments and especially enjoyed M&M memorabilia. She enjoyed taking care of everybody and was considered everyone's "Mom." Survivors include her husband, Eugene Hansen, Rapid City; a daughter, Virgina Hansen, Rapid City; a son, Justin (Vanessa) Hansen, Grand Island, NY; her father and step-mother, Charles and Marcy Shull, Portland, OR; a sister, Katherine (Bobby) Muller, Rapid City; 2 brothers, Chuck Shull, Black Hawk and Kern Shull, New Rockford, ND, a granddaughter, Julianna Hansen-Goodhardt, her father and mother-in-law, Terry and Kathy Hansen, Rapid City; a sister-in-law, Teresa Kiewel, Rapid City; a brother-in-law, Scott (Lilly Ann) Hansen, Hulett, Wyo. and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, a brother, Kenneth and sister-in-law, Dena (Hansen) Lindholm. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 16. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Sharla McCaskell officiating. A memorial has been established for the family at Telco Federal Credit Union.
