Hamilton, MT – Curtis Ray Bruns, 61, former resident of Spearfish and Rapid City, SD died Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Bitterroot Manor in Hamilton, MT.

He was born June 21, 1955 at Deadwood, South Dakota to Dale and Doris [Hoffman] Bruns. He lived in Rapid City and later moved to Spearfish where he was involved with the Northern Hills Training Center.

Survivors include his brother Bruce [Candy] Bruns of Rapid City and a niece Katrina Lund and her family of Newcastle, WY.

There will be graveside services at 1:00 pm Friday, April 21, 2017 at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD with Rev. Bob Jacobs officiating.

Arrangements are with Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.
