BLACK HAWK- Cynthia Louise Johnson, 54, passed away on November 16, 2015 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Cindy was born to Ron & Liz Johnson on July 27, 1961 in Omaha, NE. The family moved to Connecticut, then to Iowa, and settled in Rapid City, SD in 1973.

After graduation, Cindy worked various jobs, her latest being at Burger King, where she worked proudly and received numerous "Employee of the Month/Year" awards.

Cindy is survived by her fiancée, Daryl Coates; parents Ron & Liz; children: Cory, Chad, Will, Austin, & Tanner; six grandchildren; siblings, Carl Johnson & Cathy Zastrow, and niece Courtney Erk.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 20, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home with funeral services at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Herb B. Cleveland officiating. Private Interment will be on Friday at Mountain View Cemetery.

A memorial has been established to the Humane Society of the Black Hills.
