RAPID CITY - Dan Leroy Zenor, 70, Rapid City, died Friday, July 8, 2011, at Rapid City Regional Hospital. Dan was born Dec. 14, 1940, to Tom and Renie Zenor. He graduated from Rapid City High School in 1958. His marriage to Susan Melvin in 1964 brought him two daughters, Tamara (Brett) Lengacher, Minneapolis, Minn., and Darby (David) Van Puffelen, St. Paul, Minn. Dan led a deliberately modest life. He was happiest when riding his Harley through the Hills, when playing his guitar, and when hearing about his grandchildren, Dylan and Devyn. In addition to his daughters and grandchildren, Dan is survived by four brothers, Larry Zenor, Rapid City, James Zenor, Deadwood, Ken (Patty) Zenor, Laguna Hills, Calif., and Ronald (Mary) Zenor, Rapid City. Services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 12, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home, with Brent Woodard officiating.
