RAPID CITY | Daniel Arthur Crowley, 64, passed away May 7, 2018, from a heart attack.

Dan was born in Rapid City on the Fourth of July, 1953, to Jack and Orel Crowley. He graduated from Stevens High School in 1971.

Danny was a talented guitarist. He and friends formed a band, "Mama's Home Cookin." Dan was a crossword puzzle whiz. He enjoyed exploring caves, fishing, biking, golfing, woodworking, and movies.

Dan was Production Operator for the Wet Kiln at the South Dakota Cement Plant for 26 years until his retirement.

Survivors include his dear daughter, Kristin (Bryan) Anderson; granddaughter, Kinley; sisters, Linda (Ron) Laughlin, Kathy Maguire; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his longtime friend, Joyce Welch.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carol.

Services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 14, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior.
