Daniel Curtis McDaniels 84 of Rapid City passed away Friday November 13, 2020 at Monument Health Home Plus Hospice.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00pm Thursday November 19 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. A graveside service will be 11:00am Friday, November 20 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Rapid City

Daniel was born May 10, 1936 in Rapid City, SD to Alfred Curtis & Dorothy (Bridge) McDaniels.

Daniel is survived by his daughter; Dana (Richard) Towne, brothers; Richard and Cecil McDaniels, sister; Dorothy Sharp, 5 grandchildren; Mike Jorgensen, Niklaus Joshua Towne, Michelle Rae Heins, Joshua McDaniels, Jeremy Wheelhouse, and numerous great-grandchildren.

Daniel is preceded in death by his wife Margaret "Peggy", son Michael, parents, sister JoAnn Deckert, and brother Stanley McDaniels.

In Lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Black Hills Advocates.  An account has been created at Black Hills Federal Credit Union in Rapid City.
