RAPID CITY | Daniel Todd Williams, 44, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at his home surrounded by his family. Dan was born Nov. 5, 1970, in Rapid City to Terry and Judy (Likens) Williams. He attended school in Rapid City and graduated from Rapid City Central High School. Following graduation, he enlisted into the U.S. Marine Corps in 1989. He was honorably discharged as a LCpl in December 1993. Dan attended Dakota Wesleyan University and graduated with a B.S. in History. Dan married Elizabeth Anne Kincaid in 1995. To this union, three children were born: Margaret, Judith, and Albert. Dan was an instructor at LifeQuest in Mitchell for 10 years. His most recent job was an Outside Plant Inspector for Vantage Point Solutions in Mitchell for the last seven years. Dan was an avid runner, a Marine, and a Soccer devotee. He was fond of history and lively conversation. He possessed a warm smile and near boundless patience. He was a constant son, brother, friend, husband and father. Survivors include his parents, Terrance and Judith Williams, Rapid City; his wife, Libby Williams, Rapid City; three children, Margaret Williams (23), Seattle, WA, and Judith Williams (17) and Albert Williams (15), both of Rapid City; 14 brothers and sisters, Timothy Williams, Rapid City; Bonnie (Hiram) Morales, Papillion, NE; Phillip (Susan) Williams, Eugene, OR; Tracie (Gary) Ward, Pahrump, NV; Christopher (Leilani) Williams, Papillion, NE; Matthew (Amy) Williams, Aurora, CO; Adrian (Fabiana) Williams, Hortolandia, SP, Brazil; Dulcelina Williams, Mankato, MN; Felicia (Eric Tucker) Williams, Portland, OR; Eric (Kim) Williams, Shakopee, MN; Craig (Jessica) Williams, Rapid City; Elaine Williams, Fairbanks, AK; Carrie (Matt) Mushitz, Rapid City; and Byron (Paula) Williams, Sioux Falls; and 38 nieces and nephews. Christian Wake Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Christian Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2, at the Church, with the Rev. Michel Mulloy presiding. Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, with Military Honors provided by the Rushmore VFW Post 1273 and the U.S. Marine Corp Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Dan's three children.
