Rapid City David A. Roehrs, 66 of Rapid City, died Sunday, May 29, 2011, at his residence in Rapid City. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1968. Survivors include his wife, Darlene, Rapid City; one daughter, Debra (Dion) Anderson, Sierra Vista, Arizona; one son, Daniel A. (Aimee) Roehrs, Grand Junction, Colorado; two sisters, Roberta Blanchard, Bryant Florida and Janet Daoust, Plymouth, Michigan; one brother, Walter Roehrs, Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant daughter; one brother and one infant sister. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, June 2 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home with a Prayer Service to follow. Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 3 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with Rev. Josh Jones officiating. Burial with military honors by the Rushmore VFW Post 1273 Honor Guard and the Ellsworth Air Force Base Honor Guard will be at 11:30 A.M. at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis. A memorial has been established to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1630 Rushmore Street, Rapid City, SD 57702.
