RAPID CITY- David C. Stordahl, 60, of Rapid City, died Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Black Hills Workshop -Jakes Place in Rapid City. David was born September 16, 1951 in Spearfish, SD to Ralph and Bulah (Hoffman) Stordahl. He lived there with his family until moving to Rapid City in 1959. He attended Special Education classes until entering Black Hills Workshop. He moved to a group home in Rapid City in 1986. Survivors include one brother, Jim Stordahl and his wife Melody Nedrud, Portage, Michigan; aunt, Louise Lawrence, Rapid City; two nieces, Lisa Bartro and Lesley Stordahl; and one nephew Geoffrey Stordahl. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Barbara. Services will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home with Visitation one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Spearfish. A memorial has been established to the Black Hills Workshop.
