Delmer Edsel Sorenson, 91, died Monday, February 3, 2020 at Monument Health Rapid City.

Visitation will be 5:00pm-7:00pm Friday, February 7, 2020 at Osheim and Schmidt Funeral Home and one hour before the service at the church. A funeral Service will be 11:00am Saturday, February 8 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Bob Jacobs officiating. Inurnment and full military honors will take place 11:30am Monday, February 10 at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.

Delmer was born December 16,1928 in Miller, SD to George and Laura (Larsen) Sorenson. On January 7,1954 in Rapid City he married Fay Nadine Clark.

Delmer is survived by his wife; Fay Nadine Sorenson, children; DeeAnn (Jim) Schunneman, Clark (Rene) Sorenson, Donald (Mollie) Sorenson, Kent (Chelene) Sorenson, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Delmer was preceded in death by his parents, siblings; Joy Downey, Walter, Harold, Leonard, Donald, Barney, Eddie and Maurice Sorenson.
