Dennis Albert Sampont Dahlberg II 57 died Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Rapid City, SD.

A visitation will be 12:00pm-1:00pm on Monday August 2, 2021, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral, with inurnment to follow at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis. Online condolences can be left at www.osheimschmidt.com

He was born December 8, 1963, in Belle Fourche, SD to Dennis and Gloria (Bunney) Dahlberg. He grew up in the Nisland, SD area until moving to Alaska with his parents and younger brother, Justin. His father taught school in Juneau until his death in 1982. The family then returned to SD where he joined the US Marine Corps and was honorably discharged. He married Sara Farley in September of 1993. Together they had a son, Cain and a daughter, Emily. He loved riding his Harley, hunting, fishing, and hanging out with family and friends. Dennis is survived by his son; Cain Dahlberg of Black Hawk, daughter; Emily Dahlberg; granddaughter, Avery both of Watauga, TX, ex-wife, and friend; Sara Dahlberg of Watauga, TX, brother; Justin Dahlberg of Williamsburg, VA, best friend; Mike (Cody) Terry of Rapid City, uncle; Jon (Shirlee) Dahlberg of Greybull, WY, many cousins, and his beloved dogs Nala and Sophie whom he took everywhere with him.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, and uncle & aunt Eugene and Donna Dahlberg Bishop.
