Rapid City Don LeRoy Snyder, 81, Rapid City, died Monday, April 12, 2010 at the Veteran Affairs [BHHCS] Medical Center at Ft. Meade, SD. Survivors include two daughters: Donel Nelson of Serena, IL and Joyce Snyder of Denver, CO; three brothers: Dennis Snyder of Piedmont, SD, Bob Snyder of Brighton, CO, and Fred Snyder of Willets, CA; two sisters: Joan Goodart of Rapid City and Joyce Feurstenau of Reno, NV; and one grandchild. Don was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 14 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home with a Christian Wake Service at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, April 15, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Black Hills Church at Piedmont, SD with Rev. Mark McCormick as celebrant.
