Donald M. Johnson, 84, died Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at his home near Rapid City. He was a veteran of WWII and served in the U S Navy. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Johnson, Rapid City, 4 children, Claudia Cravens, Cottonwood, MN, Tom Johnson, Custer, Mary Jackson, Rapid City and Pat Seas, Rapid City, one sister, Dorothy Buck, Thief River Falls, MN, 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. His body has been cremated and a Christian Wake service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Sunday, Aug. 30 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 4500 Jackson Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 Monday, Auig. 31 at the church with Rev. Andrzej Wyrostek presiding. Inurnment will follow with Military Honors at 1:30 at Black Hills National Cemetery.
