Rapid City Donald H. Koppert, 87, Rapid City, died Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Golden Living Center Prairie Hills. Survivors include his wife: Maxine Koppert of Rapid City; two sons: Jim B. Koppert of Chandler, AZ and Richard Dick E. Koppert of San Diego, CA; two sisters: Carolyn Campbell of Texas and Janelle Ormsbee of Colorado; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 12 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and a Wake Service and Rosary at 7:00 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Wednesday, October 13 at 10:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 4500 Jackson Blvd. with Rev. Andrzej Wyrostek presiding. Burial with military honors by Rushmore VFW Post 1273 and South Dakota National Guard will be at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis at 12:30 P.M.
