Rapid City - Donald H. Noltensmeier, 93, Rapid City, died Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Golden Living Center-Bella Vista. Donald Harris Noltensmeier was born July 13, 1919 at Lane, South Dakota to Fred W. and Lila [Bell] Noltensmeier. He grew to adulthood in Lane and attended school, graduating from Lane High School. Following his graduating, he moved with his family to the Newell and Vale area where he farmed with his parents. He moved to Rapid City in 1972 and became involved in the dairy business working for Brown Swiss Dairy and later Gillette Dairy. Survivors include special friend: Gary [Ruth] Lengkeek of Rapid City and several cousins. Don was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services will be 1:00 pm Thursday November 8 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home, 2700 Jackson Boulevard with Rev. Herb B. Cleveland officiating. Inurnment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery at Rapid City.
