RAPID CITY - Donna Louise Andrews, 94, passed away peacefully at Monument Health Hospital due to complications from a fall at home.  Donna was born July 2nd, 1929, in Greybull, Wyoming to Delno and Leota (Michael) Hughes.

She attended school in Greybull and graduated in 1947.  When she was a student at the University of Wyoming, she met her husband to be, Robert Andrews of Lead, South Dakota.

They were married on December 21st, 1948. Following graduation, they moved to Rapid City and have resided here ever since.  To the union, two children were born: Robert Kevin and Susan K.

Donna was employed locally by several firms in Rapid City and after the birth of her children, became a stay-at-home mom. She rejoined the workforce when their children were older and was employed at Pennington Title Company until she retired in 1994.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan of Rapid City: two granddaughters, Shannon Johnson (Eric) and their children; Colin and Nathaniel of Brighton, MI and Jessica Halcomb and her daughter Ella of Wyandotte MI.  Also surviving are two nieces; Patti Edwards and Vicki Holcomb, both of California and her Emmanuel Episcopal Church Family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, her daughter in law and a nephew.

The family would like to thank Jim and Char Nilson for all their love and help.  As well as Donnas' neighbors; Zac, Gabby, Austin, Eric, Sarah and Becky for all of their friendship and kindness to Mom.  She was so very grateful.

The family is also grateful for the loving care provided by Cornerstone Caregivers.

A Memorial Eucharist will be held at Emmanuel Episcopal Church on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 10:30am with inurnment at Black Hills National Cemetery.

A memorial will be established to Emmanuel Episcopal Church.
