Donna K. Harris , 67, passed away Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022 in her home in Rapid City, South Dakota. She was born on April 15, 1955 in Torrance, Ca.

She was the youngest child of Robert and Arlene Kent. She graduated from Paramount High School in 1973. Donna met Dale Harris while he was in the Marine Corps, stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA. They married and moved to Louann, Arkansas in 1977. Donna relocated to Lenexa, Kansas in 2004. Among the jobs Donna worked in Lenexa, she enjoyed working at Deluxe Checks for 10 years. She met Luis Curtis, Jr. and had many wonderful years together until Luis's untimely death in 2020. Luis and Donna loved to cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs. Donna moved to Rapid City, South Dakota to be close to her sister, Kathy Moore.

Survivors include sons: Jimmy Kent (Christine) of Independence, Mo. and Jesse (Tammy) Lamphear of Lawson, Mo.: sister, Kathy (Ben) Moore of Rapid City SD: six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert Jr.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Jesse Lamphear's residence on October 22, 2022 at 12:00 pm.
