Donna Lindner, 75, Rapid City. died Friday, June 5, 2009 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. She was born June 6. 1933 in Brookings, graduated from Arlington High School in 1951 and graduated from South Dakota State College with a Bachelors of Science Degree in 1955. Donna taught at Immaculate Conception grade school in Watertown and was a substitute teacher in the Rapid City School District. She worked as a secretary for several Rapid City businesses. Later, Donna worked as a volunteer at Rapid City Regional Hospital and the at the Veterans Administration Health Clinic. Survivors include her husband Don, Rapid City; her son Mark. Rapid City; her daughter Lisa Nicol, Rapid City. , and Lisa's three children, Alyson. Andrew and Chelsey; two sisters; Joy Holman, Sioux Falls; and Barbara Butler and her husband, Joe. Somers, Conn. Preceding her in death were daughter Suzanne Louise, her father, Bill Holman and her mother, Lila Holman. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10:30 AM, Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Rapid City with Fr. Janusz Korban presiding. Inurnment will be 1:30 pm at the Black Hills National Cemetery under the direction of Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home of Rapid City. A memorial has been established to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
