Rapid City – Doris Ayer Hehner, 91, Aberdeen, died Wednesday, March 22 at Westhills Village Health Care Center.

She was born August 16, 1925 and raised in Lead, SD.  She was an Iowa State Home Economics graduate.  She married Don Hehner and they had 65 great years together. They lived all around California, but they came back to their cabin in the Black Hills every summer. She was an accomplished seamstress and weaver. Everyone who knew her will miss her. Doris was a special person.

She is survived by her daughter Meg, sons Eric and Jeff, granddaughters Mari and Annie and 3 great grandchildren.

A memorial service is being planned by the family.
