Rapid City Doris J. Hohn, 84, Rapid City, died Monday, November 28, 2011 at the Golden Living Center-Prairie Hills Nursing Home, Rapid City. She was born August 16, 1927 in Letcher, SD to Joseph and Opal [Bayles] Heinzman, where she grew to adulthood and attended school. She married Louis Hohn on February 17, 1947. Doris and Louis moved to Rapid City and raised their four children. She worked for 20 years until her retirement at South Junior High School. Doris is survived by one son: David L. Hohn and his wife Chris of Sparta, TN; two daughters: Linda Gottschalk and her husband Dale of Rapid City and Peggy Gossman and her husband Tim of Cheyenne, WY; eleven grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Louis A. Hohn on December 2, 1991; one son: Michael Hohn in 2010, and two brothers: Norman and Dale Heinzman. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 pm Friday, December 2 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home, 2700 Jackson Boulevard, Rapid City. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Saturday, December 3 at Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 520 Cathedral Drive, with Rev. Father Michel Mulloy officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at Rapid City.
